This is before tax, National Insurance and pension contribution has been taken off
The practice had 2 full-time equivalent GPs
The practice also has to pay the following:
£20,000 per year in medical insurance
£3,000 a year in postage
£18,000 a year in phone and utility bills
Nursing staff, reception and admin staff, pensions and other bills
In 2016/17 the practice spent £40,000 on Locum GPs

Carol joined the practice in May 2015 and is experienced in all treatment room duties, chronic diseases, travel vaccinations and childhood immunisations.
Carol is also our diabetic specialist nurse.

We also have two healthcare assistants in the surgery who have undergone further training to undertake additional duties. These include spirometry checks, NHS health checks, blood pressure checks, taking blood and some injections. These healthcare assistants also work on reception so they will be familiar faces to you. Please ask on reception for details.

Senior Wellbeing Coordinator and PA to the Business Partner
Jennifer heads up our new Community Wellbeing initiative. She works with outside bodies to coordinate and facilitate events, clubs, activities and support for patients. This initiative is jointly funded by MIND allowing Jennifer to support both MIND and practice patients with issues such as housing, loneliness and depression. She joined us in Summer 2015 and is also PA to the Business Partner.
